Colchester produced a massive upset as they defeated Tottenham in the third round of the Carabao Cup knocking-em-out straight outta the competition this early.
The game finished goalless after Tottenham’s duo of Christian Eriksen and Lucas Moura failed to produce goods despite the Spurs having nineteen attempts at the goal and the above mentioned duo failed to convert from the spots as Colchester went on to win 4-3 from the penalties.
And after the game, Colchester defender Cohen Bramall, who joined from Arsenal in the summer, took to Twitter to express his delight.
“What an absolute battle, Colchester is absolutely rocking!” Bramall tweeted. “THE NIGHT IS OURS … still got red and white in me as well.”
