The media in Portugal are briefly highlighting Arsenal’s interest in Joelson Fernandes, and today’s updates by Record suggest that the Lisbon side have started new round of negotiations in bid to renew the 17-year-old’s contract.
Sporting reportedly want to fixate his release clause at €100m (from €45m), something his father Eusébio and his agent Kia Joorabchian are against.
The report by Record insists that the Portuguese is wanted by at North London with the Gunners having an offer ‘ready to be presented’ to Sporting. Alongside Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund as well as RB Leipzig pursuing his signature.
