As Hector Bellerin is expected to depart the club this summer transfer window, Arsenal are on the hunt for a new right-back. Inter Milan and Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly the two clubs, who have set their sights on the Spanish International. Kieran Trippier is a name, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing and as per reports, the club has also made an opening bid for the Englishmen.
The Ex-Spurs man was a part of the Atletico Madrid’s squad who won the La Liga last season. Kieran Trippier started 35 games for Atleti in all competitions last season.
Earlier in the transfer window, Manchester United were interested in Trippier. Unfortunately, the negotiations broke down, as they fell short of £14 million of Atletico Madrid’s £34 Million valuation.
The North London club have already spent £75 Million of their transfer budget for three new arrivals so far. But, Arteta and technical director Edu won’t hesitate to spend some more money, as they are looking to add a goalkeeper, a right-back, a midfielder, and a striker into the squad.
Arsenal are also interested to sign midfielder James Maddison, Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. French midfielder Houssem Aouar and Inter Milan forward Laturo Martinez are also said to be on Arsenal’s transfer list.
