Arsenal are set to miss out on Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma, as the player is set to join Premier League rivals Everton imminently.
Danjuma, who has been in impressive form for Villarreal this season, has been a target for several top clubs in Europe. The winger, who can play on both sides of the field, has been rather decent during his time in Spain.
His performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, including Arsenal. It is a disappointing blow for Arsenal, who were hoping to bolster their attacking options with the signing of Danjuma.
However, it is not the worst thing for the Gunners though. Arsenal got what was an absolute steal of a signing in Leandro Trossard and the Belgian made such an impact in his short cameo against Manchester United.
The Gunners might actually be feeling okay with even missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea after the huge difference in fee between what the Blues paid for the Ukrainian and what we paid for Trossard.
Danjuma is a good player who will be a good fit in our team. However, right now, we do not need any more attackers than we already have. Missing out on the Villarreal man is not a bad thing at all.
