An overview of the Arsenal players representing their countries at the 2024 UEFA Euros.
GROUP A
GERMANY vs SWITZERLAND (1-1)
Kai Havertz: Not a very good game for the forward. While he pressed well and made some good runs, he failed to convert his chances, missing two headed opportunities.
HUNGARY vs SCOTLAND (1-0)
Kieran Tierney: Not available for selection following his hamstring injury sustained in the previous game.
GROUP B
SPAIN vs ALBANIA (1-0)
David Raya: Handed his first start of this Euros, Raya had a fantastic game. He made some good saves to ensure a clean sheet and a deserved victory for Spain.
ITALY vs CROATIA (1-1)
Jorginho: A good all-around performance by the holding midfielder. He was very accurate with his passing and helped out the team defensively. A big improvement from his disastrous display against Spain.
GROUP C
ENGLAND vs SERBIA (0-0)
Bukayo Saka: A frustrating performance for Arsenal’s number 7. Tried his best to create something but failed with the entire team looking out of touch. Substituted towards the end of the game.
Declan Rice: Did his defensive duties well but failed to contribute up the pitch. Needed to be braver and more ambitious in his passing.
Aaron Ramsdale: An unused substitute with England recording yet another lackluster performance.
GROUP D
POLAND vs FRANCE (1-1)
Jakub Kiwior: Didn’t enjoy a good game. Struggled against the quality French attack and gave away the penalty after fouling Ousmane Dembele.
William Saliba: Another typical impressive display by the center-back. Did his defensive duties well and was accurate with his passing.
GROUP E
UKRAINE vs BELGIUM (0-0)
Oleksandr Zinchenko: Demoted to the substitutes bench, didn’t make much of an impact after being introduced around the hour mark. Unlucky for Ukraine to not qualify with all teams in Group E finishing with four points.
Leandro Trossard: Seemed uncomfortable on the right wing. Lost possession cheaply multiple times and was substituted in the 62nd minute.
