Karim-Adeyemi-Arsenal

Arsenal’s summer transfer saga has taken a new twist as the club decided to cut off a high-profile target in Karim Adeyemi from their wish list.

The Gunners had been aiming for Borussia Dortmund’s winger, Karim Adeyemi, in a £33 million deal; however, the club’s hopes of bringing the speedy winger to the Emirates Stadium have been dashed.

The 22-year-old winger is known for his impressive pace and has been a standout performer for Dortmund, playing a crucial role in helping the German club reach the UEFA Champions League final, which made him a hot commodity in the transfer market. Adeyemi had a decent 2023–24 season with five goals and two assists in 34 appearances, showing his potential pace and power that can create massive impact in games. The speedster’s pace and dribbling have been an invaluable asset for Dortmund and a highly sought-after target for top clubs across Europe.

This wasn’t the only twist in the transfer saga. Despite Adeyemi’s inclination to stay in Germany, another Arsenal target has been instructed to find a new club. Juventus winger Federico Chiesa has emerged as a potential summer target for Arsenal, as Juventus are eager to offload eight players during this transfer window, and Chiesa is one of them as the club aims to generate funds for new signings.

Chiesa’s versatility on the wing makes him an attractive prospect for the Gunners. As Juventus look to reshape their lineup, the transfer market is heating up, and Arsenal fans are watching to see if Chiesa will be the latest addition to Mikel Arteta’s side.

However, a move for Chiesa looks unlikely at the moment as the Gunners look to bring floor-raisers to North London as Edu eyes a move for either Leroy Sane, Pedro Neto, or Nico Williams.
