Arsenal can give a huge transfer blow to Tottenham Hotspur as they eye Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen.
The Denmark international has attracted interest from both Premier League sides since breaking into the scenes last year.
The Gunners secured permanent deals for David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori. Meanwhile, Mikel Merino has completed his medical and will be unveiled soon. It might look like their transfer window has ended but they can still hunt for a new winger in the upcoming days.
Mikel Arteta’s side knows the shortcomings they can face on the right side of attack. Bukayo Saka is the undisputed starter but has little competition to face. Reiss Nelson needs to bring more to the table and Gabriel Jesus’s recent groin injury adds trouble.

Arsenal pursue Andreas Skov Olsen to bolster attack
Skov Olsen had a smooth transition to various leagues since his teenage years. He first signed for Danish club FC Nordsjaelland before moving to Serie A side Bologna. He then moved to Belgium giants Club FC Brugge two years back.
The 24-year-old hit 26 goals and provided eight assists for his parent club last season. He has continued his fine form for the Jupiler Pro League side with two goals in five games in the new campaign.
He also made four appearances for De Rød-Hin in the latest Euros 2024 tournament.
Much has been said about the star player with Dutch journalist Klaus Egelund comparing the Scandinavian ace to Liverpool maestro Mohamed Salah, Former Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard and Bayern Munich legend Arjen Robben.
While speaking to Het Nieuwsblad, he said:
“He is an Eden Hazard type. But, since he’s left-footed and plays on the right, you could better compare him to Robben or Salah.”

The right-winger holds similarities to these star footballers due to his ability to cut through the left with a sheer outburst of pace.
Brugge values their asset at €25-30 million, a bargain for a player of his calibre. Arsenal are intrigued by the prospect of landing Skov Olsen and giving him all the time and experience to be a strong competitor to Saka.
Martin Ødeegard can help the Gooners by convincing his national teammate to move to the Emirates. It is a fantastic deal for Arteta’s side who could get a raw attacker for a cheap price.
However, it remains to be seen whether there are any major movements in this transfer race since both clubs are yet to open talks.
