As per Arsenal Fanatics News on X, Arsenal are ready to open contract talks with midfield chief Thomas Partey, with a two-year contract offer on the table.
Last year, the veteran star made just nine starts as he struggled with injuries. He has now bounced back with quality display for the Gunners in the 2023/24 campaign. He has already featured six times; that’s more than half of what he achieved in the previous campaign.
Partey is a leader in midfield, physically strong, and delivering well-timed challenges. He played a vital role in helping his team overcome Tottenh*m Hotsp*r, Manchester City, Atalanta, and Paris Saint-Germain.
He made the most interceptions against the French giants, despite the fact that he was subbed at the 64th minute. In total, he has scored 10 goals in 123 games since joining the N5 from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
