As per Arsenal Fanatics News on the Patreon, the Gunners have sent two physios to assess star winger Bukayo Saka’s hamstring issue and possibly bring him back to the Emirates Stadium for rehabilitation.
The medical staff was seen driving the Academy graduate’s car, but fans were concerned that such a sports car can be notoriously bad for the player’s hamstring.
Saka could leave the English camp as his return date remains unknown. The 23-year-old started for Lee Carsley’s side in their 2-1 defeat to Greece in the Nations League encounter. However, he was subbed in the second half.
It’s a rare sight to see the energetic attacker limping off as he faced the brunt of opposition Premier League defenders without any issues. However, he could survive hardly five minutes after the first half break as he was escorted from the pitch by the medical staff. Noni Madueke was introduced as his replacement.
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka faces hamstring setback
England interim boss Carsley was asked for an update on the Arsenal star after the embarrassing loss, and he said:
“He’s being assessed. In the build-up to the first goal, you could see he felt something in his leg.”
As per Football London, renowned doctor Rajpal Brar was also asked the seriousness of Saka’s latest setback. He said:
“Saka clearly holding the back of his right leg here which typically indicates hamstring. Unable to watch but am told he felt it during a sprint and then after kicking with that leg. The hope is a grade 0 which means no overt injury and just discomfort. TBD [to be determined].”

He seems to be walking with a little discomfort but nothing major.

The Academy graduate has starred in all 13 games for club and country this season, and his presence is absolutely crucial. The injury comes at the wrong time for Mikel Arteta.
The in-form attacker has provided three assists and scored seven goals for the Gunners. He was in fine form in the 3-1 win over Southampton, where he was involved in all three goals.

We hope he recovers on time for Arsenal’s next PL game against Bournemouth on the 19th of October. In case of a minor issue, he has a week’s time to get back to his feet. However, any other problem can sideline him for few weeks.
Bringing him back to the club will help as the fans await anxiously for a positive update on his injury.
