Arsenal’s search for strikers continues to stretch far and wide as they seem adamant they want to sign the right profile. As per latest reports from TBR Football, the Gunners have been offered the chance to sign Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, who has been in solid form this season. The player has bagged 16 goals and two assists in 26 games across competitions and looks to be going from strength to strength.
However, the obvious stumbling block in this deal would be the Italian side’s unwillingness to part ways with their player mid-season. Fiorentina are currently sixth in Serie A with 36 points from 21 games and are only three points off Lazio in the Champions League spots. With 17 games to go, they have a great chance of qualifying for next year’s edition of the competition.
Kean’s 12 league goals make up nearly a third of his team’s and they will look to hold onto a player of his caliber. The only way Arsenal or any other interested party could possibly turn their heads is by paying significantly above and beyond their expectations, which aren’t clear in the first place.
Arsenal might avoid making panic-buys
Arsenal being linked with Kean is an example of how media perception works when a club is undergoing a lean patch in terms of goals, or has been linked with a certain profile for consecutive transfer windows. However, there seems to be little truth to this rumor about the Fiorentina striker.
Firstly, because Arteta has been clear about only pursuing players who would be readily available without complications, and those who would want to join the project with an open mind. Should any profile not display even a semblance of these two aspects, the Spaniard is known for his adamant nature and will naturally back out.

Due to these situations, the hierarchy and the manager are in agreement that they will avoid purchasing players just for the sake of it. Repots came out recently suggesting they believed the January market was too diluted in terms of quality available, and the club could just wait it out until the summer to make big moves.
