Its London Derby time, we will witness triple threat of Arsene Wenger’s encounter with Antonio Conte in a weeks time.
The bout between both London sides have always lived up to the hype. The quality of staff in the backroom as well as players on the field are tested.
Chelsea finished 2017 hanging on runners-up spot, after consecutive poor results by Manchester United and the Stamford Bridge side will be looking to finish the campaign on a high. Where as Arsenal are fighting hard for that Champions League spot after missing out on it last season.
When and Where?
Emirates Stadium host the late night Premier League fixture at 20:00 BST.
Team News:
Arsenal have bulk of injuries namely – Sead Kolasinac who picked up an injury during the 1-1 draw against West Brom joining Nacho Monreal, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey on the sidelines.
According to Arsenal Boss, Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil has chance of joining his team-mates on the sidelines.
“We lost Sead Kolasinac in the West Brom game and Koscielny,” he told Arsenal’s official website.
“Mesut Ozil might have a test but he hasn’t been out at all since Crystal Palace, so I don’t know.
“Koscielny is the Achilles again, it flared up. Yesterday the signs were not too encouraging. He is 30 per cent available, 70 per cent not.”
And the visitors have no fresh injury concerns. Defender David Luiz (knee) and forward Charly Musonda (groin) remain out.
Manager sayings
Antonio Conte
“I understand if some players are not playing with regularity and want to play with regularity,” Conte said.
“I will understand if someone is worried about the World Cup. I prefer to have players very happy to stay here than to have players that are unhappy. Because when you are unhappy you transfer this to the other players, to me, to my staff and I don’t like this. I’d like to avoid this situation.”
