Arsenal signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January from Manchester United, which saw Alexis Sanchez move the other side. Before moving to United, Mkhitaryan had acclaimed himself as one of the best playmakers with Borussia Dortmund.
The Armenian international struggled to make Jose Mourinho’s starting XI at Old Trafford and received criticism from Jose at regular intervals.
After moving to Arsenal, Mkhitaryan rediscovered his potential with registering hat-trick of assists in his full debut for Arsenal against Everton. Mkhitaryan is likely to start for Arsenal against CSKA Moscow on Thursday night in the Europa League quarter-finals, aimed dig at Jose Mourinho’s and Manchester United’s “defensive” style of play.
Mkhitaryan told Four Four Two: “When I heard I could swap Man United for Arsenal, I said, ‘Yes, I want to do that’, I didn’t think twice. It’s important for me to play in an offensive team. I couldn’t have imagined a better start. I’d missed playing offensively.
“I joined Arsenal because Wenger wanted me, not because he wanted to replace Sanchez. We are different players and characters, with different abilities and skills, so I’ll try my best to do everything for the club.”

Winning the Europa League is only probable hope for Arsenal to make it into Champions League next season and Mkhitaryan insisted that he will do everything he can to make supporters happy and win trophies for Arsenal.
“I want to write my name into Arsenal’s history and have my name as a legend here,” he said.
“I want to score goals, make assists and win trophies to make the fans happy.”
