Arsenal first choice goalkeeper Petr Cech has vowed to fight for his position despite arrival of Bernd Leno.
Petr Cech moved to Arsenal from Chelsea three years ago and now Unai Emery has potentially made a statement signing Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen for an initial £19million. Petr Cech admitted interest from Serie A giants Napoli, though insisted he is staying at North-London.
‘My contract with Arsenal still has a year to run,’ Cech told journalists in Zruc in his native Czech Republic.
‘The only thing I’m preparing for is the fight for the No.1 spot in goal.
‘Napoli were interested but my future is at Arsenal. I didn’t think of changing clubs.’
