SSC Napoli have announced the signing of Arsenal shotstopper David Ospina on season-long loan.
The Colombia international will spend the 2018-19 campaign with a Serie A side, having a €5 million (£4m/$6m) purchase option next summer.
David Ospina, 29, joined Gunners in 2014, making 29 league appearances in four seasons.
Arsenal confirmed the deal on Friday evening.
A statement read on Arsenal’s website: ‘He was our goalkeeper in the 2017 Emirates FA Cup final win over Chelsea. He has won two FA Cups and an FA Community Shield during his time with us.
‘David is a Colombia international with 90 caps. He has represented his country at two FIFA World Cups – in 2014 and 2018.
‘We would like to wish David the very best for the season.’
