Arsenal have an injury concern in summer signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who limped off with a knee injury and was substituted by Rob Holding in the 39th minute of Sunday’s 2-0 win against Everton.
It looked like, the Greek defender picked up the injury during a challenge with Theo Walcott and will be assessed on Monday.
“We don’t know now but the first analysis is that the doctors will wait until tomorrow,” Emery said in his post-match press conference.
“It’s his knee but I’m hoping it’s not too serious.”

Sokratis became Emery’s first signing at the club and has been ever present at the heart of the Arsenal defence since his arrival.
Sokratis has been a focal point in Arsenal’s defence since his arrival and with Laurent Koscielny already sidelined, an injury to Sokratis Papastathopoulos may raise a huge leadership concern in the back-line.
