Arsenal will visit Azerbaijan as they are scheduled for Europa League group stage clash against Qarabag FK on Thursday night.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan participation was highly doubtful due to political tensions going on between the midfielder’s nation Armenia and Azerbaijan.
I’m told Henrikh Mkhitaryan won’t be making the trip to Azerbaijan for Thursday’s game. Player’s own decision based on the security situation amid the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. Could be an issue for the final in Baku as well if Arsenal make it that far.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was benched for 2-0 victory over Watford on Saturday, and will now remain in London as his teammates take the long journey to face Qarabag.
Mkhitaryan is expected to slot straight into the starting eleven when Arsenal face Fulham at the weekend.
Unai Emery is on a run with seven wins in a row and will have to shuffle his squad for a long trip to Azerbaijan and facing Fulham at the weekend, if he wants to keep that winning Streak beating.
