Liverpool defeated Cardiff City by four goals to one, as they comfortably pick up three points. Now, they face Arsenal next weekend which is expected to be one of the encounters of the month. We believe so but Geroginio Wijnaldum believes contradictory as the Dutch international predicts Arsenal to be an easier opponent than struggling Cardiff.
Talking about Arsenal.. They have been impressive lately, winning eleven games on the trot before Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park and Wijnaldum believes Unai Emery’s aggressive approach to the game may just make it an open contest for The Reds.
Wijnaldum said (via METRO Sport): ‘It’s more difficult than other games. When you play a top team they are trying to create chances, so when you have the ball you will have more spaces, they will try to press you.
‘But with them they don’t really press. They were marking the spaces and their wingers played like left-back and right-back.
‘It was difficult but we managed to score four goals.’
