Former Arsenal superstar Ian Wright took his celebrations to another level after Aaron Ramsey’s classic goal against Tottenham Hotsp*r on Saturday.
In his last North London derby as an Arsenal player, Aaron Ramsey sent some of the pantheons of the club into a frenzy. The Welshman will leave the Emirates for Juventus in the summer transfer window but has given Arsenal fans some wonderful memories during his tenure.
Ramsey sent Arsenal legend Ian Wright into deliriousness when he latched onto a through ball from teammate Alexandre Lacazette in the 15th minute and rounded Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at Wembley Stadium.
The 27-year old’s calm finish was celebrated heavily by the Arsenal fans and even the former players and Ian Wright almost did some damage to his cell phone in the ecstasy of taking the lead over the local rivals.
The 55-year-old former Englishman spent eight seasons at North London scoring 185 goals in 288 appearances for Arsenal, however, his passion for the club has remained.
Wright appeared to film himself on his front camera and in his excitement dropped his phone in the process. Rather fortunately, Wrighty’s phone did not break and he went on to upload the comical event and his delight on social media.
