Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been linked with a move to Premier League in the upcoming transfer window, with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Leicester City interested in his services. Though, there is a twist in the tale here, as emergence of Inter & AC Milan upheld his trip to England with Italy a potential destination.
The Reds from San Siro are strongly interested in Szoboszlai’s services, as the Hungary international came out speaking about Milan’s interest dropping a strong hint on his potential future away from England.
“At this moment I can’t say anything about Milan’s interest.”, said Dominik via. Milan News. “If it were to go through, it means that it was destined. The final decision is up to me, but I also have other proposals. I will make the choice I think is best for my career.”
Its said there are atleast three clubs in Italy itself interested in his services, above that the likes of Borussia Dortmund as well as Salzburg’s sister club Red Bull Leipzig are also couple of other interested parties.
AC Milan are continuing their project by investing in youth, though the ecomoic assessments in hand of Ivan Gazidis, they will try to lower Salzburg’s demands though it’s said they won’t have problems meeting up with the player’s wages and bonuses (where Arsenal will reportedly try to contain).
Though, Leicester City targets Dominik Szoboszlai as a back-up (if not the successor) to James Maddison while Mikel Arteta looks at Orkun Kökçü to fill in for aging Mesut Ozil.
