Premier League giants Arsenal are exploring a move for Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo to bolster their attacking unit this summer, as per the Independent.
The Gunners returned empty-handed last season in what was another close finish for Mikel Arteta and his team. They finished second in the league and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
However, they will be aiming to get one step closer in the upcoming season by welcoming some important additions to their squad. They have already agreed a deal to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and are accelerating talks to rope in RB Leipzig ace Benjamin Sesko.
But recent reports suggest that they have also added Semenyo as an alternative option. The 25-year-old shone in the PL by making 16 goal contributions in 37 games. He was instrumental in helping the Cherries put up an improved display in the 24/25 season.

The Ghanaian star along with Hugo Ekitike were the only two players to win 50+ aerial duels and complete 50+ take-ons across the big five leagues last season. His dribbling skills are exceptional, can strike the ball cleanly and can play across the front-line. A very versatile option for any elite club.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race as well. But no team has actively approached Bournemouth as of now.
Arsenal will have to put out fifty million for Semenyo
Andoni Iroala’s side values him at £50 million, and it remains to be seen if any potential suitor tries to meet this valuation. Semenyo could improve the current Arsenal squad, but he is not the answer for their current problems.
The management are carefully targeting selected players due to a tight transfer budget, and hence, they won’t go about signing players for any valuation. Getting Sesko or Gyokeres is absolutely mandatory, knowing that they struggled without the presence of an attacking threat up front.

We expect them to relocate a considerable amount of money to land a number nine. Meanwhile, Man United have secured a move for striker Matheus Cunha and are now working tirelessly to sign Bryan Mbeumo.

Hence, their chances of going after Semenyo look slim. Spurs remain the lone survivor in this race, and it will be interesting to see whether they approach the Bournemouth striker.
