Arsenal will head to Camp Nou to compete FC Barcelona in the 54th edition of the Joan Gamper trophy on August 4 starting at 8:00 p.m.
The Joan Gamper trophy was launched back in 1966 in honour the service of a founding member of FC Barcelona, as well as being a former player and president Joan Gamper. The North London club, led by Unai Emery will be making their first appearance in a tournament with a tradition that serves as the presentation of the first Barca squad.

Arsenal will be playing Barcelona in the final game of pre-season schedule. The Gunners will be playing a number of pre-season matches in order to prepare the team for the upcoming season. The Reds will kick-off their preseason starting against the Boreham Wood, followed by matches against Colorado Rapids, Bayern Munich, Fiorentina and Real Madrid.
Arsenal also hosting the 10th Emirates Cup on Sunday, July 28, where women’s side will be facing Bayern Munich and the men’s side will face Lyon. The preseason programme is completed with a match against Angers on July 31 (7.30pm kick off).
