Arsenal travel to Eintracht Frankfurt for Thursday’s Europa League group stage opener but the former German playmaker Mesut Ozil has been left out of the squad.
Ozil has been used sparingly by Unai Emery so far this season and Arsenal supporters are baffled by manager’s decision. The fans fumed over Mesut Ozil snub on Twitter.
Mesut made his first Premier League appearance of the season in the 2-2 draw at Watford last weekend and has also trained with the rest of Arsenal’s squad on Wednesday but have been left home for the tie with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The decision has caused a lot of confusion from Arsenal fans over why Emery left him in London.
