Arsenal are interested in another young prodigy, as according to French news outlet Le10Sport, the Gunners have made an inquiry for Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby. Though they will have to shrug off competition from German giants Borussia Dortmund, who as Arsenal are known to develop youngsters.
Bayer Leverkusen acquired the services of Moussa Diaby from Paris Saint-Germain last year in a bargain £13.5million deal, and the Frenchman has since impressed at BayAreana, being directly involved in thirteen goals for Leverkusen this season, scoring five and laying off further eight.
The French youngster has made his presence known despite featuring alongside the likes of Kai Havertz, Kerem Demirbay and many other Leverkusen stars.
Indeed, Diaby returned to action earlier this week and continued from where he left off as he layed off couple of assists for Leverkusen as Kai Havertz took plaudits for his brace in Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-1 win over Weder Bremen.
The report claim that the Gunners as well as Dortmund have already made inquires, though Diaby’s agent has an excellent relationship with Arsenal.
Diaby is a stunning addition, someone who ticks all the criteria Arsene Wenger used to speak about during his time at Arsenal. The Frenchman is young, full of potential & desire and has shown his qualities at his short time with Bayer Leverkusen. Though the German club are expected to ask for a handsome sum for Diaby.
