Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has handed Unai Emery a huge boost after returning back to training on Friday.
The Spaniard suffered a muscular injury last weekend in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace and was substituted at half time. Arsenal Boss Unai Emery feared he’d miss the game against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
However, he trained with the rest of squad on Friday ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Bellerin was joined by Sead Kolasinac, who was absent for last week’s game at Selhurst Park with Granit Xhaka drafted to play left-back against Palace.
Unai Emery have confirmed that Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Nacho Monreal and Sokratis Papastathopoulos will all be assessed ahead of Saturday’s game against Liverpool.
“We are playing a lot and injuries are normal. We will wait on full-back. We will see if a player can make it for tomorrow,” said Unai Emery
Arsenal will be expecting their team to return to winning ways when they host Liverpool in the Premier League.
