Arsenal are due to visit San Siro later today as they face Inter Milan in the league stage clash of the ongoing Champions League campaign as the Gunners look to make it three European wins in a row.
Mikel Arteta would be looking to put the league woes behind as the Gunners suffered back-to-back defeats against Bournemouth and Newcastle United; however, the UCL form should motivate the Spaniard and his team as we visit the Nerazzurri.
Speaking about Inter Milan, they have a brilliant squad with the likes of Marcus Thuram, Nicolò Barella, Lautaro Martinez, and many more. The visitors would be wary about the individual threat they possess and will have to be at their defensive best to come out with a result against the Serie A giants. The likes of Thuram and Martinez can hurt you in a blink of an eye with their pace and technical quality, and Mikel’s men will have to remain focused along the ninety minutes.
While Inter possesses a hurting threat, Arsenal have some of their own, and the host’s defender, Matteo Darmian, has been speaking highly of an Arsenal ace who possesses “great qualities in one-on-one situations.”
Matteo Darmian warns Inter about Bukayo Saka threat
The former Manchester United defender has been speaking about Hale End graduate Bukayo Saka, who is arguably one of the best players in all of Europe, and speaking in the pre-match press conference, he named the England international as the danger man.
Darmain said:
“We will try to play our game, taking into account the qualities and characteristics of Arsenal. We know the quality of Saka and the other attacking players they have, we will have to work at a team level and do our best to cause them problems when we have the ball.”
When he was further quizzed whether the focus is all on Bukayo, Darmain added:
“No, you have to pay attention to everyone. He is an important player for them; he has great qualities in one-on-one situations. But, as I said before, Arsenal is not one player but an important collective of quality. It will require great teamwork on a defensive level and not only.”

Despite Martin Odegaard coming back for the Gunners, he is likely to start on the bench today, and Bukayo Saka is expected to lead out the North Londoners at San Siro.
