Arsenal are keeping tabs on Brighton & Hove Albion’s in-form winger Kaoru Mitoma after missing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea.
For long, it looked like the Gunners would end up signing the Ukrainian sensation and even managed to agree on a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk over a transfer for the 21-year-old. However, London rivals Chelsea had other plans as they sensationally hijacked the deal in the 11th hour to leave Arsenal stranded. Mudryk who seemed to hint to want to move to Arsenal eventually ended up with the Blues.

Mikel Arteta & co. will not have been pleased with the way Mudryk stabbed them but that is football and ultimately a better offer on the pay scale is likely to have convince Mudryk to move to the Bridge.
However, Arsenal will now be looking for a player to reinforce their wings and they have identified Kaoru Mitoma from Brighton as an option. The youngster has really impressed at the Amex stadium recently.
However, Roberto de Zerbi is building a very interesting project at Brighton and he will not want to sell a player who has proven so useful to them, especially with the Leandro Trossard situation. This is a signing that Arsenal are less likely to make.
