Arsenal head-coach Unai Emery has confirmed that Petr Cech will start in goal for Arsenal against Blackpool in the fourth round of Carabao Cup.
Petr Cech started every game for Arsenal this season under Unai Emery before he suffered an injury in the win over Watford last month. Since then Bernd Leno was handed his place. He accepted the whole new challenge and did not made a lapse in his consistency. With his latest coming in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace, despite Cech was passed fit following his hamstring problem.
But Emery stated, Petr Cech will be given the chance to impress tonight against The Seasiders.
“In each moment for each match, we are going to give the goalkeepers the opportunity to help us,” Emery said.
“We are looking for the confidence in each goalkeeper. But now at the moment, Petr Cech will start the Blackpool match after coming back from his injury.”
