According to Forza Roma, The Stadio Olimpico side have made an opening offer of £10m for Henrikh Mkhitaryan but the bid was rejected by Arsenal earlier this week.
Mkhitaryan, who was subsequently sent out on a season-long loan, has made an impact in Serie A this season and Roma wouldn’t mind keeping the midfielder on a permanent basis.
The Armenian international has been enjoying his football at Roma having three goals and an assist to his name in 10 appearances and has developed an affinity towards fans in Italy.
It seems unlikely that Mkhitaryan have an Arsenal future and could be heading towards a permanent exit.

Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal from Manchester United in a swap deal involving Alexis Sanchez going the other way in January 2018, and has scored nine goals in 59 appearances for the North-London based club.
Though the swap deal, which was anticipated to be one of the greatest in history, has gone downtown as Manchester United has loaned away Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan and the Gunners are all set to ship away Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Roma.
