Arsenal have registered their interest in signing £38 million rated Mohammed Kudus from fellow Premier League side West Ham United.
The Ghanaian joined the Hammers from Ajax back in August 2023 and has performed well in bursts for the west Londoners.
However, as per reports from The Mirror, Arsenal have been interested in signing the player for quite some time now. They were interested in the move before Kudus move to the London Stadium and have retained their interest despite the player moving to West Ham just one season ago.
Mohammed Kudus contribution for West Ham amid Arsenal interest
Since joining the Hammers last summer, Mohammed Kudus has impressed with his performances in some games, with his inconsistencies standing out. However, the team’s instability has also been a factor in this, with Kudus’ performances often standing out despite poor performances from the team.
Kudus has made 55 appearances for West Ham across competitions, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists as well. He contributed with 18 goals and seven assists in a decent season last time around and has yet to hit that pace with two goals and one assist so far this season.
An attack-minded player that can play as an attacking midfielder or on the right flank, Mohammed Kudus would be the perfect addition for Arsenal. Fit to start some games or be a deputy for preferred right winger Bukayo Saka, Kudus would offer an extra attacking option which the Gunners have seemed to lack in recent years.

Saka has been overloaded with the pressure of having to play on the right flank in most games and adding a very capable player in Kudus for the same role would help offload some of the minutes from the number 7. Additionally, with West Ham undergoing a torrid spell themselves, a move for Kudus could help both parties move onto the next stage.
