Arsenal are set to re-ignite interest in Juventus’ Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, whom the club already had a stint chasing in 2022, before he chose to move to the Turin-based club. This is as per reports from JuveLive, which add that the Gunners are now ready to make a serious offer they believe will compel the Old Lady to part ways with Vlahovic.
Back when the player was being scouted, Cristiano Ronaldo was still the main man at the Allianz Stadium and the club were in desperate search for an adequate heir. They stumbled upon Dusan Vlahovic, who had netted 21 times for Fiorentina in the 2020/21 season. He began the following campaign with his former club, but Juventus signed him in January 2022.
Since joining the club, Vlahovic has produced a respectable return of 54 goals and 11 assists in 129 matches. Despite this, he has constantly been linked to moves away from the club as Juventus are slowly and surely losing their reputation as one of Europe’s most competitive clubs.
Due to that, he has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal set to circle around for a second go.
How would Vlahovic benefit the Gunners?
A complete striker in terms of all-round footballing ability, Dusan Vlahovic is still among the top-rated strikers in Europe. Being left-footed is also a big positive as the player will add a new dimension to the Gunners’ attacking play should the move materialize.
Vlahovic is also renowned for his set-piece abilities as he is adept with free kicks as well as penalties, with the former being a spot of concern for Arsenal as they have no free-kick specialist in their squad. Standing at 6-foot-3, the Serbian marksman is also physically strong and will fit into the Premier League’s demands with ease.

Aged just 25, Vlahovic has plenty of time left at the top level and could give a top club seven to eight years of top-quality football. He has made 286 club appearances in total, scoring 126 goals and providing 21 assists as well.
Under Arteta, he could develop into the most complete version of himself.
