Arsenal resume striker hunt as they target a summer move for 24-year-old Fiorentina star

Moise-Kean-Arsenal

As reported by FC Inter News, Arsenal are targeting Fiorentina star Moise Kean as they restart their mission of signing a new number nine. The 24-year-old has joined their star-studded wish list ahead of the summer transfer window.

He was already tracked last month, and it is no surprise to see him back on their radar. He is having a brilliant season, scoring 19 goals in all competitions for the Viola.

Fiorentina are eyeing a top four finish, and Keane could make it happen. Arsenal needs to spend €52 million in order to meet his release clause. His parent club would be ready to cash in if they receive that sort of a sum for their prized asset.

The Gunners’ fierce rivals, Tottenh*m Hotsp*r are also interested in the Italian ace. Kean is currently Europe’s most potent young marksman and could develop even further under the watchful eyes of Arteta.

He has the experience of playing in the Premier League with Everton. He spent four years at the Goodson Park but found it difficult to establish himself as a youngster. He went on to join Paris Saint-Germain and later Juventus on loan.

After a long struggle, he finally found his footing at Fiorentina as he joined them for €13 million last summer. Manager Raffaele Palladino has found out a way to utilise the Italian star’s physicality and intelligence in the box.

Kean deserves a raise for his impressive performances, and who knows? He could return back to the PL.

The North London outfit is also targeting other Serie A attackers such as Atalanta star Mateo Retegui and Inter Milan pair Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez. We expect them to spend big on at least one striker and a wide attacker in the summer.

Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak remains their most wanted target, but his massive price tag has complicated the deal.

It remains to be seen if they are willing to splash a huge sum on him. RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko is another younger alternative who could be willing to leave in the upcoming months.
