Club Brugge manager Ivan Leko has already admitted that Wesley Moraes is ready to play for a big club with the Brazilian striker himself mot ruling out a move away from Belgium next month.
The 22-year-old highly rated striker rejected move to Lazio in the summer, to develop more at Brugge. Though he has indicated that he would like a move at the end of the season, at the same time has not dismissed the possibility of a January one:
Speaking to the Belgian daily Nieuwsblad, as reported by InsideFutbol, Wesley Moraes said:
“It was not easy to refuse a bid from a club like Lazio, but I knew it was better for me.
“I Love Club Brugge and got the chance to develop myself.
“Normally, I would wait until June, but we have to wait.
“I’ll stay here as long as I can.”
Blauw-Zwart acquired Moraes from Slovakian side AS Trencin for a mere £900,000 and are all but set to make a healthy profit – if they decide to cash in on him this January.
