Arsenal will welcome West Ham United at the Emirates on Saturday as we progress into the third game-week of Premier League 2018/19.
Both the teams will be eager to get their first win of the campaign as both of them comes into the fixture with zero points on the board.
Unai Emery has to find a solution of the problems of his team very quickly; On the other hand, after spending well in the transfer market, West Ham United will also try to get things back on track from this match.
Today ‘Arsenalcore’ will try to give a glimpse between Robert Snodgrass and Aaron Ramsey as both of attacking midfielders will battle till the last blood to hand their respective sides three points, coz in the end that is what matters.
Aaron Ramsey :
To surprise of many, Unai Emery benched Aaron Ramsey against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend. Ramsey was handed starting role in the first match against Manchester City – Unai Emery used Aaron Ramsey just behind Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. But the Wales International was not able to impress Emery in his first outing playing as a secondary striker.
In the following match against Chelsea, he came into the field at the 77th minute of the match as a substitute of Mesut Ozil. It was really difficult for the player to make an impact within these much short period of time in a match.
But, according to me Aaron Ramsey should be in the starting lineup of the Gunners against West Ham United on Saturday. Unai Emery should switch to a 4-3-3 formation against West Ham United where Mkhitaryan and Ozil will play at both the flanks with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang at the centre. In the midfield there should be the presence of either Matteo Guendouzi or Lucas Torreira as the central defensive midfielder. Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka should play at two sides of the defensive midfielder in the field.
Robert Snodgrass :
Robert Snodgrass is quite a familiar name in Premier League circuit, he gained his familiarity mainly after his performances for Hull City couple of seasons back.
West Ham were quick to snap him up but Snodgrass saw limited gametime with his new club. Last season, he was loaned out to Aston Villa and now he is back again with West Ham – ready and roaring to prove his worth. 30-year-old started this season on the bench against Liverpool in the opening weekend, but was introduced as substitute in the second half.
He started for The Hammers against Bournemouth last weekend but the results was same again for West Ham as they ended up on the losing side. Robert Snodgrass has failed to make any considerable impact since his arrival in London, and this is an perfect opportunity for Scottish international to crave his name into West Ham’s starting XI for a considerable amount of time.
