Arsenal’s Premier League fixtures for the 2024-25 season have been released. The Gunners will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates for the opening day of the season. Mikel Arteta’s men will be hoping to end their season closing game at Southampton with a first Premier League title in 20 years.
The opening five fixtures look balanced for Arsenal. The home games against Wolves and Brighton will be games that the Gunners will be expected to win. The games against Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will be tough but will be crucial games for the Gunners. Dropping too many points in the opening fixtures could lead to Arsenal being significantly behind in the title race after just five games. That puts Arteta and the rest of the team under pressure much too early in the season.
Arsenal’s preseason will be important in their Premier League title race. Having their key targets signed by July and giving them enough time to adjust to Arteta’s tactics should be the game plan for the Gunners.
