Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has been called up to Germany squad for National League double against France and Netherlands.
Bernd Leno was not included in the call-up list initially but injury to Kevin Trapp triggered his involvement. Former Gunner Serge Gnabry has also been called up as replacement for his Bayern Munich teammate Leon Goretzka.
Leno returns to National team for the first time since June after missing out on the plane to World Cup. His last appearance in Germany colors came against Azerbaijan in October 2017.
Leno was handed his first Premier League start last weekend in 5-1 win against Fulham, with initial first choice between the sticks Petr Cech injured.
Germany will face Holland at Amsterdam Arena on Saturday with the fixture against France scheduled three days later.
