Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno suffered a worrying injury as he was taken off on a stretcher against Brighton & Hove Albion after awkwardly twisting his knee in a challenge with Brighton’s Neal Maupay.

The Germany international fell awkwardly after collecting the ball in air as he was shouldered by Seagulls striker Maupay on the edge of the Arsenal box. After receiving extensive treatment, Leno being taken from the pitch on stretcher with what looked like a serious leg injury and was seen pointing a finger at the Frenchmen. He angrily letting Seagulls striker know that he was responsible for the injury.
