Arsenal have suffered a setback ahead of their game against Southampton at the weekend with midfielder Dani Ceballos ruled out until mid-December.
Ceballos sustained the problem during the second half of Arsenal’s draw with Vitoria on November 6 in Europa League and was unable to continue. Three days later he missed Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat against Leicester ahead of international break.
Earlier this month, Unai Emery had cited that Spaniard’s hamstring injury didn’t appear to be a serious one, but it will be another three to four weeks before the player is back in full training, the Gunners have confirmed.
Beyond Dani Ceballos, Sead Kolasinac is also a doubt for Southampton, with the 26-year-old returning from international duty with Bosnia & Herzegovina with a tight hamstring.
