Daniel Ballard has climbed one step higher on his ladder of success as the youngster has signed his new professional contract at Arsenal.
During his U23s’ at Arsenal, he featured in 18 Premier League 2 matches , scored one goal and helped the goalkeeper to achieve seven clean sheets. Besides, he was given the responsibility of captian in FA Youth Cup for Arsenal in U18s’ and achieved greater heights by reaching in the Final.
He gratitudes Arsenal U23s’ manager, Freddie Ljungberg and has learned alot under him. His game is improving day by day and aspires to reach at the paramount in his career.
”I’ve grown a lot. I found it tough coming into the Under 23s but I’ve learnt so much under Freddie,” he said.
“Towards the end of the season, I think it started to show and I was happy with my performances. Freddie has help me a lot with my technique, when to pass, what decisions to make and I’ve learnt so much during this time with him.My defending and knowledge of the game continues to get better as well.”
He is a peachy keen center-back and his finesse was rewarded with first new professional contract for Senior Northern Ireland squad in late March which now has also gained him a ladder up the Arsenal team.
He is the new rising star for Aresnal and has been into limelight by his excellence prowess and would be aiming to play in Premier League for senior Arsenal as centre-back under Unai Emery in he upcoming season 2019/20.
