Arsenal are into the post Alexis Sanchez era, and Arsene Wenger is looking to make a statement showing ‘he means business’. Arsenal have already secured signatures of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and promising Greek starlet Konstantinos Mavropanos, with West Bromwich’s Jonny Evans and Dortmund’s Aubameyang highly linked to a move to North-London this winter.
Arsenal have lost one of their prolific goalscorer in Alexis Sanchez and are in the need of someone who can get the ball into the net on regular basis. Aubameyang is someone who can fit perfectly to Arsenal needs.
Gabon International has similar history of scoring goals and without a doubt is Dortmund’s best player at the moment.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has established himself with Dortmund and despite of his age, coming into Arsenal makes perfect sense. Aubameyang plays as a striker but can even feature on flanks. Jurgen Klopp deployed Aubameyang on flanks in his first season at Dortmund where in he served as a wing man to Robert Leverkusen. Despite featuring on the flanks he made quite of an impression, the goal scoring hunger could be spotted clearly.
After Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich, Aubameyang took charge of getting goals and taking Dortmund all the way.
Arsenal have the ‘magic creators’ in Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but lack finishing responsibilities is where Arsenal look struggling at the moment.
Alexandre Lacazette have failed to live up to his expectations and it looks like he needs a year or two to settle in the Premier League. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang can turn out the solution Wenger needs at the moment.
Aubameyang has scored 21 goals this season, and would provide ‘much needed’ competition to Alexandre Lacazette.
Bringing in Aubameyang would give them pace going forward and would take Arsenal’s attack to next level.
