Henrikh Mkhitaryan is now an established Arsenal’s creative force. The Armenian international made an immediate impact in Arsenal colors and established himself as integral part of Arsenal’s squad.
He looked more comfortable at Emirates than he ever had at United towards the back end of last season. Mkhitaryan notched up couple of goals and four assists in eleven League appearances and was also crucial in Arsenal’s Europa League campaign. From his Arsenal debut in Gameweek 25 until the end of season, he has taken 21 shots creating 16 big chances. His ability of creating of big chances can produce significant point-hauls for FPL managers.
Alongside Aubameyang – who he played with at Dortmund – have lot of chemistry between them and have a professional understanding ‘knowing what to do’. The expectations are high from the Armenian and he is expected to be one of Unai Emery’s ‘untouchable‘ players.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan recorded 107 points last season with 2 goals and four assists in eleven appearances for the Gunners after swapping sides in January.
OVER THE FLANKS
Arsenal have recruited five players this summer. But they haven’t recruited any wide player which suggests that Mkhitaryan could be deployed on the flanks.
Wide role perfectly fits Mkhitaryan’s quality. He can dribble past defenders and could easily generate something from nothing with those pitch perfect crosses and link-up play. Henrikh also likes to cut in from the flanks with explosive full backs running past him which gives him the freedom to take commands over the offensive side of the game.

Mkhitaryan is good at tracking back and serve a helping hand to defenders, something which he did with excellence last season. Mkhitaryan can also serve as a support to box-to-box midfielders like Aaron Ramsey. He could cover up the secondary role well while others are up ahead on attacks.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is priced at £7million, looks a relative bargain for a player. It is something which will tempt many Fantasy Premier League managers to have Mkhitaryan in their squad. The Armerian could become Arsenal’s go-to attacker for the season’s opening encounters.
