Arsenal’s most trusted and award-winning channel, the Vision podcast, has revealed to the Arsenal Fanatic News that attacker Kai Havertz is not suffering from a major injury setback and is fine to continue in the next game.
The 25-year-old ace played the entire 90 minutes vs. Southampton last week but struggled from a knee problem after the game.
Hence, he pulled out of Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for their next Nations League games against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands.
The German Football Association revealed that Jonathan Burkardt has been picked as a replacement. Havertz will be accessed by the Arsenal medical staff in the upcoming days as the club is not back in action until October 19th.
The player struggled with a similar knee issue at the end of last season but has still managed to perform admirably. He had a reduced preseason due to his exploits for Germany in Euro 2024. Although his recent setback is an unwelcome development, this will give him time to rest for two weeks.
Havertz has been their brilliant this year, firmly establishing himself as their key no. 9. The former Chelsea star has started in eight out of nine games this season. He has made seven goal contributions in ten games, which shows how consistent he has been for the North London outfit.
Kai Havertz fit for Bournemouth clash
We expect the versatile attacker to be back for the next PL contests against Bournemouth clash on the 19th of October, with Vision Podcast also claiming that he is fine and will be back in contention to feature next week. The source wrote:
‘Arsenal Vision Podcast tell ArsenalFanaticsNews they think Havertz is fine . They are not ones for the bullshit , the biggest and best Podcast out there so this is a very good update.’
The Gunners have a hectic schedule after the international break, with a run of seven games in three weeks. The striker’s presence is vital, but the club will be careful in managing his game time.
Kai Havertz & Thomas Partey both expected to be back next week for Arsenal.
Both should be fit to play Bournemouth.
Still awaiting green light for Martin Ødegaard, but I expect him to be back for either Bournemouth or Liverpool.
