Leicester will look to break out of their poor run of form across competitions as they prepare to host Arsenal at their King Power Stadium in the Premier League’s early kick-off slot on Saturday, February 15.
Ruud van Nistelrooy and his Foxes will enter this game on the back of a testing run of games, where they managed just one win from their last five. In this run, they conceded a worrying 11 goals and scored just three goals, failing to score in three of the games.
They have missed key players as well, with defenders Harry Souttar and Ricardo Pereira on the sidelines along with attackers Abdul Fatawu and Odsonne Edouard.
The Gooners can’t expect much sympathy from Jamie Vardy, who has scored 11 goals against them. He is only behind Wayne Rooney (12) and Harry Kane (14). However, the Foxes are still sweating on the fitness of the veteran striker, and it remains to be seen whether the forward haunts the visitors once again.
Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen are ruled out for this clash. Ricardo Pereira is unlikely to return for the next few weeks, and Abdul Fatawu is out until the end of the season.
