Matteo Guendouzi has been one of the most influential man for Arsenal this season. Despite his age and the fact that he is put into Premier League straight outta French second tier – he has been Unai Emery’s rock at the middle of the park.
Guendouzi came into the season on back of impressing performances in the preseason, which led Unai Emery to start the young man against defending champions Manchester City in the opening weekend of this season.
There is just no looking back for him as today when Matteo Guendouzi starts for Arsenal against Cardiff City today, he would become only the fourth teenager to start each of Arsenal’s first four matches of a Premier League season, after Nicolas Anelka (1998-99), Cesc Fabregas (2004-05 and 2006-07) and Johan Djourou (2006-07).
