Atlanta United’s midfielder Miguel Almiron is believed to be on his way to England this winter with reported bid of £11.5 million already accepted from the Premier League club believed to be Arsenal
The 24-year-old has already scored 12 times and created 13 further assists in 32 games for the MLS side this season.
The Paraguay international has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past and now it appears the North Londoners have won the race to sign the 24-year-old.
Atlanta president Darren Eales has subsequently fueled the speculation that the attacking midfielder has already agreed a move to the England when transfer windows reopens in January.
Darren Eales telling FOX Deportes USA: “Almiron’s future is already decided and [he] will go to England in the European winter market.”
It is believed that Almiron could fill part of the void left by Aaron Ramsey, after Arsenal failed to conclude a deal with the Welshman. But will he be someone who can replace Aaron Ramsey?
