Brazilian outfit Palmeiras are looking to lure Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus to the Allianz Parque next summer, as per the Fichajes.
The 27-year-old rose through their academy ranks before shining for their first team. Manchester City took notice of his exceptional performances at such a young age and signed him in 2017.
He went on to spend five successful years at the Etihad Stadium and was a regular player for them until Pep Guardiola deemed him surplus to requirements.
The Citizens wanted a more lethal out-and-out number nine, someone who can upgrade their attack to the next level. They sanctioned his departure to Mikel Arteta-led Arsenal in 2022 amid huge fanfare.

Although he enjoyed a fruitful spell during his initial few months, continuous injury concerns ruined his stay at the club. He has accumulated less than 600 minutes of game time this season. Jesus has scored just one goal and one assist in over 16 appearances, a really poor return considering his talent.
Palmeiras keeping an eye on Gabriel Jesus
Palmeiras are aware of the South American’s struggles, and they want to use this opportunity to bring him back to his boyhood club. They can initiate talks with Arsenal over a possible move next summer.
Jesus has to accept the fact that he has a limited role to play with the Gunners, and hence, he could consider a dream return to the Série A. Palmeiras want to put on a strong show for the Brasileirao, the Copa Libertadores, and the Club World Cup trophies.
