It has been reported that Arsenal, along with other top European clubs including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, are interested in signing SC Freiburg midfielder Noah Darvich. German fans are raving over the 16-year-old attacking midfielder after seeing him play for Germany’s under-17 national team at the European Championship.
Darvich is a left-footed ace who can operate as a number 10 or drift in from the right, and he is well-known for his technical skill and adaptability. SC Freiburg recognises the problem of retaining the young talent with only 12 months left on his present contract and is aware of the growing interest in him.
Although Darvich’s future destination is still up in the air, reports indicate that Arsenal, especially Mikel Arteta – is eager to recruit him because of the offensive role he may play for the club. PSG are said to have already spoken with the player’s representatives, but other teams are keeping a careful eye on the matter as well.
