Another Youngster departs on a permanent deal,As Starlet Savvas Mourgos joins Norwich City on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
Arsenal announced the deal officially on Tuesday. Savvas was signed by Arsenal in 2014 from Greek side Panionios and signed a profession deal with the gunners last year,so his departure may come shock to many.
Savvas did not have any Senior Arsenal appearance under his belt,but Last season this guy made five appearances for U23’s and his mainstream was U18’s.
An Arsenal statement read:
“Young midfielder Savvas Mourgos has signed for Norwich City in a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
“Savvas arrived in north London from Greece in 2014 – after impressing in the Ferroli Cup with his boyhood club Panionios.
“The Greece youth international made five appearances for our under-23s last season, and was a regular for Kwame Ampadu’s under-18s during his time with the club.
“We’d like to thank Savvas for his contribution and to wish him well for the future.
Norwich said the contract runs to June 2019 with a one-year option.
“Mourgos, who was born in Amarousio, Greece, will train with City’s Under-23s team, who play against Stoke in the PL2 on Friday evening,” the statement said.
