Arsenal hero Tony Adams has made a sensational claim about Arsenal’s English superstar Bukayo Saka comparing him to PSG superstar Lionel Messi.
Bukayo Saka has undoubtedly been one of the best players in the Premier League this season. A case can be made for him being the best Arsenal player although Martin Odegaard might have a different opinion.
The talented academy star has evolved into one of the most deadly right-wingers in the world. The potential has always been obvious with Saka and Arsenal are now reaping the rewards for their persistence in him.
One of the first names on the team sheet for Mikel Arteta in the Arsenal team and Gareth Southgate in the English national team, the sky is the limit for Bukayo Saka.
If Arsenal are to win the Premier League this season, they will need Bukayo Saka to have an equally good second half to the season. If he can do that, there can be no stopping the Gunners.
Tony Adams, speaking to Seaman Says podcast has made a huge claim that Bukayo Saka has what it takes to be at the level of Lionel Messi.
“I think player of the season is Saka. The kid is just phenomenal. I had a bit of a go at Gareth [Southgate] during the World Cup for taking him off. He’s every bit as good as Messi, Messi is obviously at the end of his career.”
Adams has been very generous in his comments about Saka. The Arsenal kid still has a long way to go before he can reach Lionel Messi levels but don’t put it past him to get there someday.
