Arsenal vs AC Milan has always been an exciting fixture to showcase and it has got the supporters excited again. Arsenal are scheduled to face AC Milan in the Round of sixteen of UEFA Europa League over two legs this March.
Talking about both the clubs they boast some exciting talents and talented squad. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Suso – are among-st the most popular faces of their respective clubs. Both of them have a similar style of play and they as well play identical role for their teams.
Arsenalcore will today analyse ‘how’ both of these midfielders cum forwards fair, their strengths and their weaknesses.
Suso
Suso was once regarded as future of Liverpool, though things didn’t work out his way in England. With Milan he is not only one of the most respected player in the squad but also one of the best winger at the moment. Suso has been the man ‘San Siro’ sing to when they need of goals.
Suso will have an opportunity to bite back at Liverpool, showing ‘What beast he has developed into’ against their English counterparts Arsenal.
Suso earned his maiden call-up for Spain earlier this season in August 2017 when Spain played Italy for 2018 World Cup qualifier. He made his debut for Spain in a friendly against Russia on 14 November, 2017.
Suso has a good eye not only for goal but also picking out players in and around the opposition penalty area. He can beat the opponents with tricks and turns and his ability to control game.
Suso can ply his trade with both foots, yet left is his preferred one. The Spaniard is adaptable as a midfielder as well as a forward.
Arsenal will have to keep this man quite if they want to have a chance to go in the next round.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Henrikh Mkhitaryan singed for Arsenal this January and since then have given fans a new name to sing. Mkhi has shown his potential with the performances he has put in for Aresne Wenger’s man.
Mkhitaryan is a versatile midfielder who can even feature along the offensive side of the game. Individually Mkhitaryan possesses some extra ordinary qualities,Henrikh may be a midfielder but his eye for goal and creativity makes him dangerous. He is decently frisky and a team player.
Mkhitaryan’s partner in crime – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will not be available for the Ac Milan fixture but the midfield duo of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil will play an important role in the attacking side of Arsenal’s fixture. Under new manager Gennaro Gattuso, Milan have got their defence right – they don’t give enough spaces, they force the opposition to work hard and for the ‘first time since October 2006‘ Milan have kept six clean sheets in a row. Here the intelligence of Ozil and Mkhitaryan comes into play. Not everyone can understand how these lads play and its quite difficult to know their next move.
If Arsenal are to progress against Milan, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will have an important role to play.
