Nacho Monreal was one of the best Arsenal player last season, but looking at how he fared in the opening two games this campaign Fans certainly had to rethink about Nacho being the premier option for the Eleven.
No doubt he was one of the fan favourite, but his performance is a disgrace to watch.
Okay,we all know he changed positions and is been playing as Centre-Back,and switching position is not as easy as it sounds. But with that we have to consider the easy goals given by Arsenal in both Leicester as well as Stoke fixture.
The three-man defence has worked quite well for whole of the squad, but The Spanish International has seen dropping of his performance. It was Nacho’s mistake that led to that Jese goal at Bet365 Stadium in Matchday 2.
Sead Kolasinac is too good to be ignored and certainly with his performance until now,he deserves a place in starting XI and is poised to replace Nacho Monreal as soon as Laurent Koscielny is back for the Gunners.
Monreal signed for Gunners in 2013 from Malaga and since then he has come a long way,We can say He put Kieran Gibbs Arsenal career to deep sleep and established himself as one of the best Left-Backs in the English Top Division. But Playing this guy in the heart of defence is as risky as it sounds and might provide the hole in the defence for oppositions.Playing him as CB even means snatching away is ability going forward on attacks, his runs, his passes and Crosses are certainly one of his better abilities giving the squad a go in Oppositions Penalty Area.
We saw Hector Bellerin featuring as Left Back in Stoke fixture where the whole defence plated by Arsene Wenger was about Uncertain – I’ll Say.Where Nacho Monreal a Left-Back playing as A Centre Back and One of the best Right Back of Premier League Hector Bellerin Playing as a Left Back giving him a Wrong preferred foot.
Arsene Wenger & Co. will need to work up their defence as soon as possible as they have Liverpool game coming this weekend.
